I advise my clients to call the toll free/customer service number of the credit card(s) that they plan on taking and using on their vacation. Advise the company of the travel date window, location and even the airports involved so they can expect possible charges and not block legtimate client charges. The credit card companies really appreicate the info as it helps them prevent theft and fraud- thus keeping all of our costs down.
